It must be tough to push hard for bills like the Stop Piracy Online Act and Protect IP when your employees or members are downloading illegal files.
And then, the inevitable, hilarious conclusion. This is fantastic news for pirates everywhere; now “somebody used my IP” is an ironclad excuse. If somebody was able to “steal” the RIAA’s IP address, it should be child’s play to steal anyone else’s.
